Niko Tonks from Yakima Chief Hops was in town and sat down with Derrick and Jonathan at Karben4 in Madison, WI to talk about the hop supplier, the process of hop selection and how they work with breweries around the globe. Yakima Chief is 100% grower-owned.

Yakima Chief is primarily American hops, owned by American hop growers, but they work with hop growers all over the world to produce 35-40% of the domestic hop crop. This equals 30 to 40 million pounds of hops a year!
